Best Best & Krieger LLP gets packing

For the third straight year, attorneys and staff at all nine national Best Best & Krieger LLP offices partnered with affiliates of Volunteers of America in a drive to provide school supplies for students who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. In Riverside, Michelle Ouellette, partner in environmental law; Jeff Ferre, who leads the firm’s special districts practice; and Cynthia Germano, managing partner for the firm’s Riverside office, helped stuff backpacks with supplies, such as notebooks, calculators, pencils and binders. The supplies were donated by Best Best & Krieger attorneys and staff, as well as OfficeMax and Merrill Corp. “These kids are already facing tough challenges. By giving them the tools they need to thrive in school, we can help them to not only achieve academic success, but also give them some sense of normalcy among their peers,” said Jamie Zamoff, Best Best & Krieger’s chief operating officer.
