Lambda Legal held its 20th Annual West Coast Liberty Awards on June 14 at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. The event honored Los Angeles attorney and human rights activist Mia Yamamoto for her advocacy on behalf of equality for transgender men and women. The event also honored the firm's executive director, Kevin Cathcart, for his 20 years of leadership. "The world has changed, and Lambda Legal has had a part in that," said Cathcart.
