The Legal Marketing Association in Los Angeles and the Daily Journal held a seminar on May 31 to discuss how small firms can use media to grow a practice while abiding by market rules. James Ham, a partner at Pansky Markle Ham LLP who specializes in representing lawyers in State Bar proceedings, was among the panelists. The other panelists were: Jennifer Mir, practice development manager at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, Edvard Pettersson, legal news reporter for Bloomberg, and David Houston, editor of the Daily Journal.
