The Daily Journal held a reception June 12 in Beverly Hills for the 2012 Leading In-House Lawyers in California. (see today’s supplement). Donald P. de Brier, corporate executive vice president and corporate secretary of Occidental Petroleum Corp., was the guest speaker. Blythe Holden, senior vice president ageneral counsel of Shopzilla Inc., interviewed de Brier on ways to be a successful in-house lawyer.
