Jury approves Mongols trademark forfeiture, but final decision is up to a judge
A federal jury on Friday approved the forfeiture of the Mongols biker club’s trademarked logos, connecting a cartoon of a muscled motorcyclist to a racketeering conspiracy involving the 50-year-old group.
SANTA ANA -- A federal jury approved the forfeiture of the Mongols biker club's trademarked logos, connecting a cartoon of a muscled motorcyclist to a racketeering conspiracy involving the 50-year-old group.
Friday's verdict authorizes the forfeiture of a huge collection of Mongols merchandise seized by federal investigators in a series of raids in 2008, including patches, clothing, guns and ammunition.
