William W. Godward, a former name partner to the firm known today as Cooley LLP, has died. He was 105.
Godward — a 1937 graduate of what was then known as Boalt Hall School of Law — died Feb. 24 at his home in San Francisco, the firm said in a statement.
His career spanned more than 70 years, during which he advised clients on banking, media and manufacturing matters.
