Judge warns against dredging up past wrongs in lawsuit against LA County
The second civil trial for a disbarred attorney who says the mistreatment of her and other inmates at Los Angeles County Jail under former Sheriff Leroy Baca extended to its mental health services is set to begin Wednesday, after the judge warned he will exclude much of the parties’ proffered evidence as extraneous.
