Judge prepares to enjoin mayor from posting city attorney confidential emails
Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge Jill C. Fannin rejected Mayor Thomas K. Butt’s argument that the city attorney’s secret communications to the council violated the Brown Act and that he had constitutional rights as a private person to post emails sent to him.
