Judge vacates manslaughter conviction for stillborn death
Judge Valerie R. Chrisakkis on Thursday reversed the plea of Adora Perez, who had been charged by District Attorney Keith Fagundes with murder because her drug use resulted in the death of her child. Perez pleaded guilty to manslaughter to avoid a murder trial.
