A judge signed warrants while visiting Canada. Now no one knows what to do
Jones Day looked at the situation, and told the Orange County Superior Court the matter is complicated and needs more investigation.
The night judge at the Orange County Superior Court signed off on warrants while he was visiting Canada and now no one knows if those warrants are valid.
A lawyer for the court said Wednesday they don’t know how long Superior Court Judge Nicholas S. Thompson was in Canada or how many warrants he signed off on while out of the country.
