A former head of security at Uber Technologies Inc. went to great lengths to cover up a 2016 data breach, a prosecutor told a jury on Wednesday. But a lawyer for Joseph Sullivan said he was scapegoated by new management brought in to clean house in the wake of several scandals at the rideshare company.
