Final vote on nomination to 9th Circuit could be Monday
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer appears to be trying to pick up the pace in scheduling votes on Biden’s judicial nominees as the November midterms approach and Democratic control of the chamber hangs in the balance.
The nomination of U.S. District Judge Salvador Mendoza Jr. of the Eastern District of Washington to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals moved forward Thursday with a 48-43 vote in the U.S. Senate.
