Ulta Beauty chain sued over push notification technology

Push Data has filed many lawsuits since receiving the patents in 2020, previously suing a slew of restaurants, hotel chains, and retailers including Burger King, Chipotle, Dunkin’ Donuts, Hilton Worldwide, Inter-Continental Hotels, Jack in the Box, Panera Bread, Papa Johns, REI, and Wendy’s among others.

Ulta Beauty chain sued over push notification technology

A patent infringement lawsuit accuses the Ulta Beauty chain of violating four technology patents in the Ulta Beauty app used to communicate with customers.

Push Data LLC, a technology group that said it received the rights from Texas-based monetization firm Endpoint IP LLC, filed the lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
