DocuSign accused of appropriating 3 signature-signing patents
Counsel for DocuSign — Michael J. Sacksteder of Fenwick & West LLP in San Francisco — argued that the case had to be dismissed for improper venue because the assertion that some of DocuSign’s workers were residents of Washington, D.C. did not mean that the company had “regular and established business” in the area sufficient to conduct discovery.
