Court may reinstate discipline charges against ex-bar chief
A ruling from February that dismissed most of the counts against former State Bar director Joseph Dunn as time-barred is being reevaluated by the State Bar Court review panel as it overlooks the definition of a rule on what qualifies as time limit constraints.
A State Bar Court review panel said it would reevaluate a February ruling that dismissed as time barred most discipline counts against the State Bar’s former executive director, Joseph Dunn.
“Proceedings in the Hearing Department are temporarily stayed until further order of the Review Department, pendingruling on the petition for interlocutory review,” Presiding State Bar Court Judge Richard A. Honn wrote Friday.
