Disney sues DeSantis: Who has the strongest case?
If the case moves in Disney’s favor, it could set a precedent that leads to greater corporation freedom. While this could potentially allow private entities to bring forth other future lawsuits against government regulations that can be proven to prohibit a company’s growth, it will also provide a balance between the branches of state government.





The Walt Disney Company filed a lawsuit against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on April 26, claiming his recent legislative actions against the company as targeted government retaliation. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and accuses DeSantis of violating Disney's First Amendment rights.
