Deputy sheriffs rolling up their sleeves: a win for workers
The requirement that employers bargain before implementing new terms and conditions of employment is sacrosanct and should be protected at all costs. But any decision that hamstrings the Inspector General’s ability to snuff out deputy gangs is a net negative for workers.
