Counsel in doctor fraud case asks to be relieved
In his motion, attorney Eric D. Chan said his client took actions that undermined the case.
A Los Angeles judge tentatively granted an attorney’s motion to be relieved as counsel for a doctor accused of fraud and unjust enrichment by a large medical network.
In his motion, Eric D. Chan of Athene Law LLP in Culver City, said that his client, Dr. Jonathan Nissanoff, took numerous actions against his advice that have undermined the case and rendered their relationship beyond repair.
