Don’t block the Microsoft-Activision merger
It is easy to sympathize with the FTC’s skepticism of increased marketplace concentration in the tech industry. Over the last decade, an increasing number of tech firms have violated the Sherman Antitrust Act and Clayton Act’s prohibition on monopolistic practices that restrain trade, limit competition, and increase consumer prices. However, Activision and Microsoft are not of this ilk.
