LA judge admonished for drunken driving conviction
Judge Lillian Vega Jacobs “was immediately cooperative with the court and commission and deeply regrets the incident,” said her attorney, Paul S. Meyer of Costa Mesa.
The Commission on Judicial Performance on Thursday publicly admonished Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Lillian Vega Jacobs in connection with her arrest and conviction for drunken driving last year.
“A public admonishment is a serious level of discipline,” the commission’s Director-Chief Counsel Gregory Dresser explained. “She is not suspended from her job.”
