Legislation that would protect certain domestic workers continues to move forward
For many, Senate Bill 686 is a welcome next step to protect the health and safety of domestic workers who have been excluded from labor protections afforded to other workers. For others, on-going concerns remain that many individuals to whom the law would apply lack the expertise to comply with Cal-OSHA’s regulations.
