Streamlining provisions won’t apply to Delta Conveyance Project
The final budget bill recently signed by the Governor includes the overall CEQA reforms, but removed the Delta Conveyance Project from the list of eligible projects for streamlining with a single line that a project qualifying “does not include the design or construction of through-Delta conveyance facilities of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.” The final budget bill also excluded the proposed changes to the Delta Reform Act.
