Judge may drop Boston archdiocese case
In a tentative ruling and subsequent hearing, Superior Court Judge David S. Cunningham III said he was inclined to quash a subpoena against the archdiocese unless the plaintiff could prove it knowingly sent a pedophilic priest to work in Los Angeles.
A Los Angeles County judge said Tuesday that he may drop the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Boston from one of hundreds of clergy sexual abuse cases being tried in the county.
