US Sentencing Commission is ‘back’, and pushing for reforms
One amendment is a hotly disputed proposal to allow judges to release prisoners early if the law changed since they were incarcerated in the first place.
PORTLAND, Oregon – The U.S. Sentencing Commission, stymied by the absence of a quorum since January 2019, is “back in business” and pushing forward changes to the law, U.S. District Judge Carlton W.
