A lawsuit that challenges a Los Angeles city ordinance that restricts sidewalk vendors near tourist attractions, sports and concert venues will go to trial starting Feb. 15, a judge said Tuesday.
The ordinance, passed in 2018, prohibits vending within 500 feet of tourist attractions such as the Hollywood Walk of Fame, plus concert and sports venues such as Universal Studios and Dodger Stadium on days when there are events.
