A State Bar Court judge on Tuesday shot down a last-ditch attempt by counsel for President Donald Trump’s former attorney, John C. Eastman, to abate disbarment proceedings accusing him of making false statements about the 2020 presidential election that allegedly helped incite a riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
