My concerns about the guest column on fringe legal theories

These columns promote fringe legal theories with potential appeal on talk radio but lack substantive value for the majority of licensed attorney readers.

While I appreciate the Daily Journal's inclusion of diverse legal opinions and perspectives, I question the rationale of publishing the guest columns written by Richard A. Nixon. His columns promote fringe legal theories that may appeal to his talk radio audience, but offer little to your readers, most of whom are licensed attorneys. His latest piece, "America is approaching its promised freedom" (September 7, 2023) is mostly quotations before he attacks the legitimacy of the...
