Social noise is not an environmental impact
Thanks to Assembly Bill 1307, UC Berkeley’s student housing initiative, and similar projects that faced public scrutiny, can progress with the assurance that potential noise from their future residents will not stall their development.





In 1956, the University of California's governing body, the UC Regents, acquired People's Park in Berkeley. This 2.8-acre plot is situated near the University of California, Berkeley campus, east of Telegraph Avenue. The intent was to address the growing need for student housing.
