Two electronics companies — Seiko Epson Corp. of Japan and Lenovo Group Ltd. of China — are facing a federal patent infringement lawsuit brought by an optics research laboratory. The plaintiff claimed Epson and Lenovo unlawfully incorporated protected technology into their augmented and virtual reality smart glasses.
