Attorneys for more than a dozen jewelers and Brink's armored transport are preparing for trial in Los Angeles County over one of the largest jewelry heists in modern history.
The jewelers sued Brink's when it refused to pay their claims for reimbursement after an armored truck was robbed on its way down Interstate 5. But Brink's says the plaintiffs under-declared the value of their goods.
