SAN GORGONIA PASS WILL HOUSE ENERGY PROJECT

Cabazon Wind Partners, a wind energy project created by Cannon Power Corp., has secured nearly $55 million in construction debt financing. The deal closed May 1.

        Cabazon Wind Partners, a wind energy project created by Cannon Power Corp., has secured nearly $55 million in construction debt financing. The deal closed May 1.
        The New York branch of Munich's Bayerische Landesbank Girozentrale provided the funding.
        With the financing, San Cabazon Wind Partners will build 62 wind turbines in the San Gorgonio Pass near Palm Springs. The turbines should generate electricity by August's end, and the electricity will be sold to the California Department of Water Resources. Cannon Power Corp., part of Madrid's Cannon Group, provided the initial funding for the project.
