Law Firm Foundation Gives Money to Local Nonprofits
The Konowiecki & Rank Foundation, a charitable institution created by the Los Angeles law firm of Konowiecki & Rank, is donating $25,000 to the Pediatric & Family Medical Center and another $25,000 to Para Los Ninos.
"The members and employees of our firm wanted to give back to our community by raising funds to lend a helping hand where it would be needed most," says partner Harold Pope, chairman of the foundation's charity selection committee.
The nonprofit medical center in downtown Los Angeles provides health services to the families of the community regardless of income level.
Para Los Ninos, also located in downtown Los Angeles, provides local children with cultural, educational and recreation activities.
The foundation was established in 1999 to donate money to local charities. Partners and employees donate a percentage of each paycheck to fund the foundation.
