San Diego's Klinedinst, Fliehman & McKillop has added two litigators to its month-old Los Angeles office.
Partner Neil Gunny and associate John Calvagna join two other litigators in the new office, including managing partner Gregory Garbacz.
Gunny joined the office on July 29 from San Diego's Chapin Shea McNitt & Carter where he was of-counsel for three years. He spent the bulk of his career with Glendale's Hagenbaugh & Murphy.
"I had been the managing partner of an office when I was with Hagenbaugh, and I enjoyed being involved in all facets of the office organization. And this will give me the opportunity to do that again," Gunny says of his decision to join an upstart office.
Gunny has handled civil litigation cases from medical malpractice to real estate fraud. More recently, he's focused on defense of real estate professionals, accountants and corporate directors.
Calvagna, also from Chapin Shea, represents companies in professional liability and employment cases.
Klinedinst has one other office, in Santa Ana.
