McDermott Will & Emery Adds IP Practice to Munich Outpost

Seven months after McDermott, Will & Emery opened a Munich office, the firm has added an intellectual property practice to that outpost with the addition of partner Boris Uphoff.

        Seven months after McDermott, Will & Emery opened a Munich office, the firm has added an intellectual property practice to that outpost with the addition of partner Boris Uphoff.
        Uphoff's practice focuses on trademark, unfair competition, copyright, design rights and patents. The attorney also litigates cross-border intellectual property disputes, with his recent cases involving parties from the United States, Israel, Australia, the Netherlands, Denmark and Poland.
        Chicago-based McDermott Will has 900 lawyers, with California offices in Los Angeles, Irvine and Menlo Park.
