WEST COVINA -- Superior Court Judge Ramiro P. Cisneros had a change of heart after he submitted his application for a judgeship.
Cisneros had been with the Los Angeles County public defender's office since 2001, and he enjoyed the challenge of representing his clients before the court. Cisneros also looked forward to a full retirement benefits package if he stayed with the office. He was 52 at the time.
