SAN DIEGO - Kelly Doblado was a regular kid. She belonged to her local 4-H chapter, was captain of her high school drill team, devoured murder mysteries like Milk Duds at a Saturday matinee, and favored legal thrillers and old detective movies dating back to "Charlie Chan."
