VAN NUYS - Now in her 20th year presiding over felony preliminary hearings in the Van Nuys courthouse, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Jessica P. Silvers has certainly found her niche on the bench.
But don't think for a minute that two decades of dealing with the same calendar has dulled her enthusiasm for the job.
