MERCED - Five years ago at age 39, Marc A. Garcia made Merced County history as its youngest judge to be appointed to the bench.
Attorneys say his comparative youthfulness hasn't been a problem.
"I was a little concerned, because he was relatively young for taking the bench," said defense attorney William A. Davis, who has appeared before Garcia. "But he's done a bang-up job."... (continued)
