      POMONA - The boy had serious problems when he landed in Judge Martha E. Bellinger's courtroom a few years ago. He was in trouble with the law and was failing in school.
      Today, the teenager has a 3.6 grade point average and is joining the Marines. He's one of Bellinger's success stories.
