SAN LUIS OBISPO - A "Bill of Rights" cup imprinted with the Amendments to the U.S. Constitution sits on a shelf in Judge Linda Hurst's chambers.
When the cup is filled with hot water, the text of the 1st, 4th and 14th Amendments disappear.
The cup, a gift from a friend, is a tribute to Hurst's sense of humor.
