HAYWARD - Even with 17 years on the bench, the hard calls and tough cases of criminal court aren't always easy for Judge Roy Hashimoto. His solution: a pair of treadmills in the corner of his chambers at the Hayward Hall of Justice.
Hashimoto, a seasoned prosecutor prior to becoming a judge, said it's the child molestation and sexual assault cases that most affect him.
