LONG BEACH - When Cole Group v. Manning was transferred to Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michele E. Flurer's court on a Friday in 2013, the eight litigants had four separate lawsuits advancing to trial in four separate jurisdictions. Neither professional mediators nor state and federal judges could help broker an agreement between them.
