SAN JOSE - Alden Danner is not quite ready to start thinking of his judicial career in the past tense.

The 72-year-old Santa Clara County Superior Court judge, in his 20th year on the bench, said he "probably" is going to retire sometime this year. But he does not seem that all the eager to go.
