SAN DIEGO - The single mom with a 20-year methamphetamine habit was fuming.

As soon as she reported to Judge Desiree Bruce-Lyle's new Parole Re-Entry Court program, the judge ordered a drug test. When the results came back positive, the judge had her taken into custody.

The order stunned the woman, who complained she would miss her teenage son's birthday party.
