LOS ANGELES ? Roger W. Boren, administrative presiding justice for the 2nd District Court of Appeal, doesn't plan to stand for re-election in 2018.

"I'll be gone sometime between now and then. Next year I'll have been here 30 years," he said during an interview in his chambers at the Ronald Reagan State Building in downtown Los Angeles.
