SAN FRANCISCO ? What began as a quiet Monday in Edward A. Torpoco's courtroom turned heated by mid-morning when attorneys contested a public corruption case involving three former San Francisco government employees.

Defendants Nazly Mohajer, Zula Jones and Keith Jackson were facing bribery and money laundering charges in San Francisco County Superior Court.
