LONG BEACH - It was the third time the motorist had been cited for driving without a valid license. Judge Kathleen Diesman was not pleased.
At the defense attorney's request, Diesman reluctantly agreed to sentence the man to 30 days of electronic monitoring rather than County Jail time. She warned the defendant, however, not to drive again without a valid driver's license.
