PITTSBURG - Trevor White has looked at crime from many different angles - as a police officer, a forensic scientist, a crime analyst, a district attorney and, now, a judge.

Since he was appointed to the Contra Costa County Superior Court in 2008, White has handled misdemeanor trials, pretrial matters and felony preliminary hearings.
