MORENO VALLEY - Riverside County Superior Court Commissioner Andy Anderson put his dreams of law school on hold 40 years ago for a shot at rock 'n' roll.

A bass guitarist with "Sterno and the Flames," Anderson decided to test his future as a professional musician in the eight-member band with the kitschy pompadours and an entourage of pretend bodyguards.
