PORTERVILLE — Judge Walter Gorelick’s time in Tulare County actually predates the institution of the modern court system there.
“I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years,” said Gorelick, who is currently the longest serving judge in the county. He’s been a judge in the Central Valley for about 37 years, appointed during Gov. Jerry Brown’s first tenure in 1980.
